Sometimes in life you find your dreams, and sometimes your dreams find you. I am driven by an intense sense of curiosity (thankfully I'm not a cat) and I enjoy constantly pushing myself to discover new things. In addition to being a photographer and videographer, I am also a musician, graphic designer, Art Director and I also currently hold a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a heavy slant toward the Gracie Combative School of training.

After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Media Arts & Design, I have spent my time working as a Magazine Art Director and a Professional Photojournalist & Commercial Photographer. I spent ten years fully submerged in the publishing industry, serving as the Editor-In-Chief, Art Director and Principal Photographer of the successful regional magazine Southern Distinction. In addition to my publishing duties I have gone on literally thousands of commercial and photojournalistic photo shoots.

I have been fortunate enough to see my work published all over the Southeastern United States. Southern Distinction, Athens Magazine, Georgia's Good Life, Flavours, Links, Macon Magazine, The Official Georgia Travel Guide, Lake Oconee Living, Where-Travel Georgia, Classic South Weddings & Events with Style, Dawg Life Magazine and Athena Magazine are just a few of the periodicals that my work has appeared in.

In addition to photography and graphic design, I am also very much involved with videography. I love taking the principles of still photography and applying and adapting them to moving images. In 2008 I started a small production company in Georgia called Directional Dimension Studios. We enjoy making Narrative shorts and music videos. In addition to my work with Directional Dimension I have also been lucky enough to work as the Director of Photography with some very talented local Directors.

Today, I reside in the beautiful Classic City of Athens, Georgia. My professional photojournalistic and commercial background has led me to develop a clear vision for the work that I  do. From the steamy elegance of a gourmet plate of food to the nervous excitment of a new bride I relish the privilege of capturing life's fleeting moments.
